Elon Musk Technology Overview, Review and Future Challenges
Let’s Get Started
Elon Musk is an international man of tech wizardry. He has become a billionaire 13 times over and rated number 80 of the world’s richest people as of march 2017 with an estimated value of $13.9 billion.
Musk was born on June 28, 1971, in Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa, the brilliant son of Maye Musk, a model and dietician from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada; and Errol Musk, a South African electromechanical engineer, pilot, and sailor. He has a younger brother, Kimbal (born 1972), and a younger sister, Tosca (born 1974). His paternal grandmother was British, and he also has Pennsylvania Dutch ancestry, and his maternal grandfather was American, from Minnesota. After his parents divorced in 1980, Musk lived mostly with his father in the suburbs of Pretoria South Africa.
During his childhood he was an avid reader.
At 10 years old, he developed a game by teaching himself computer programming at age 12, sold the Basic-baed video game he called Blastar to a magazine called PC and Office Technology, for ~$500. A web version is online.
He is the founder father, CEO, and CTO of SpaceX; co-founder, CEO, and product architect of Tesla Inc.; founder and CEO of Neuralink; co-founder and chairman of SolarCity; co-chairman of OpenAI; co-founder of Zip2; and founder of X.com, which merged with Confinity and took the name PayPal.
Musk has stated that the goals of SolarCity, Tesla, and SpaceX revolve around his vision to change the world and humanity. His goals include reducing global warming through sustainable energy production and consumption, and reducing the “risk of human extinction” by “making life multiplanetary” by setting up a human colony on Mars.
In addition to his primary business pursuits, he has also envisioned a blisteringly fast transportation system known as the Hyperloop, and has proposed a VTOL supersonic jet aircraft with electric fan propulsion, known as the Musk electric jet
A digital payment system used by the world over, with great success Paypal reported net revenue of $2.54 billion, up 19% from sales of $2.14 billion in the first quarter of 2015. That figure was slightly higher than the average estimate from analysts, who anticipated net revenue to be $2.5 billion.
The world’s first mass electrical car producer, power walls, and solar roof tiles producer.Currently has progress, cash increase of $300 million, from $3.1 billion at the end of the third quarter, to $3.4 billion in the fourth quarter 2016.

Some thoughts you did not know about the giga factory, giga factory represents the factory’s planned annual battery production capacity of 35 gigawatt-hours (GWh). “Giga” also know as a unit of measurement that represents “billions”. One GWh is the equivalent of generating (or consuming) one billion watts for one hour—one million times that of one kWh.The Giga factory was aimed at being the worlds biggest factory. The entire roof is covered with solar panels.
SpaceX a company designed to revolutionise the space industry and has gained worldwide attention for a series of historic milestones. It is the only private company to return a spacecraft from low-Earth orbit in history, which it first accomplished in December 2010. This company made history again in May 2012 when its Dragon spacecraft delivered cargo to and from the International Space Station — a challenging feat previously accomplished only by governments. Since then Dragon has delivered cargo to and from the space station multiple times, providing regular cargo resupply missions for NASA.
Next challenge is vs the flying car.
What will Elon do because his cars are electric but some one would rather buy a flying car than a electric car.
The reason for this is that the price range would lets say $200 000 for both, approximately and the short answer would be no one likes traffic.
Other reasons would be electric cars have been around for some time even though they have not been mass produced, some planes run on only electricity. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_electric_aircraft
One was even made in 1917 making flying with electricity a viable fuel source.
Not all Elons ventures were spoken about but the point surely has been made that this individual has many successful ventures that have become a combination of his passions and lucrative life goals.Exciting to see what is next for Elon Musk.
